BookTubeAThon TBR | 2018

Even though I'm not a booktuber (but thinking about it), I want to participate in this read-a-thon because I just think it's so cool, last year I only watched the videos, I didn't participate, this year I want to challenge myself and see if I can read 7 books in one week or complete all challenges. Hopefully, it'll be easy with my TBR because I have, 1 contemporary, 4 poetry books, 1 graphic novel, and 1 re-read, so yeah.

Challenges and TBR:

1/ Let a coin toss decide your first read.

So this was actually the last one I planned because I wanted to have the rest of the TBR before choosing two, and I have: Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon (HEADS) and An Abundance of Katherines by John Green, (TAILS).

It was TAILS (trust me, I'm not lying ok? I know it's hard to believe through blogging). So I guess my first read will be John Green's book.

2/ Read a book about something you want to do.

For this one I'm going with Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon because I really want to travel to Hawaii, so yeah, this is one.

3/ Read and watch a book to movie adaptation.

And again, Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon, I didn't do it the first time I read it because the movie hadn't come out yet but now I will! YEY.

4/ Read a book with green on the cover.

This one I chose An Abundance of Katherines by John Green, One Katherine's green. At least the Portuguese version has one.

5/ Read a book while wearing the same hat the whole time.

This is a fun challenge, I'm not a big fan of hats so I'm going for a quick read, so the one I'm reading for this challenge is The Princess Saves Herself in This One by Amanda Lovelace, it's a poetry collection, and I'm trying to get into more poetry books, so I'm excited to dive into this one.

6/ Read a book with a beautiful spine.

For that, I'm going with An Abundance of Katherines by John Green, It's simple but complex at the same time and I really like it.

7/ Read seven books.

So I presented to you 3 books, the other 4 are three poetry books and one graphic novel.
Poetry Books:

    - The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur - I read Milk and Honey and there were poems I really liked, others not so much, but still a good book.

     - The Witch Doesn't Burn In This One by Amanda Lovelace - It's the second book by Amanda that I'll read in this read-a-thon, it's part of a trilogy called Woman Are Some Kind of Magic.

     - Bitter Sweet Love by Michael Faudet - I heard good thing about this one so I'm excited to pick it up.

Graphic Novel:

     - Spinning by Tillie Walden - Ever since I found it on Goodreads I've been looking everywhere, and somehow I managed to find out that my friend had it! yey! I'm so glad that she has a lot of graphic novels I can borrow from!

Are you participating through vlogs or blogging? Let the link in the comments so I can go and have fun reading/watching what you'll post. I'm excited about this read-a-thon.
