Loved the art from this graphic novel, the expression in the lines. This graphic novel deals with personal problems from the author, such as I thought it was a biography (even though it's not marked as one), and it shows his coming to terms with his religion.

This book is a masterpiece of form, symbol, and structure, it's fluid and full of flashbacks that make you understand more and more about the main character's past life, then you have his discovery of love, and them his loss of love, and then his loss of religion and it was so well written and illustrated that I could keep reading more without realising the time passing by.

This also deals with bullying and child abuse in a manner that is just impressive, it's real and raw and still fascinating (obviously disturbing too, but written with such a tremendous care), I related so much to the characters, what he felt for his brother, his empathy, I wanted to hug him and say everything will be okay.

Craig lived in a city where religion was such an important matter, he was religious until a certain age. It made me angry some of the thoughts from other religious people from Craig's church, like a guy telling him that his brother (the guy's brother) went to art school and started drawing with nude models, and that lead to pornography and that lead to homosexuality... life wtf? really? They were so closed minded that I just wanted to punch most of them in the face. And then he stopped being religious.

This is such an amazing graphic novel and you really should read it if you want tragedy and wonder and finding where you belong. 600 pages of amazingness.
